How Ampare Emergency works
A button that alerts the family quickly when something happens, on every plan, without promising what it cannot deliver.
The button, the alert and the live audio are part of every plan. On Essential, the family can also reply by voice and replay the recording, and everyone sees the live map.
It does not replace emergency medical services or public emergency lines. Ampare alerts the family; people are the ones who decide and act.
Step by step
The caregiver activates it in the app
In Ampare, the responsible caregiver turns on Ampare Emergency for the person being cared for with a QR Code and recorded consent.
A single red button
On the phone of the person being cared for, the screen shows one large red button, with no other menus to get lost in.
Five seconds to cancel
Pressing it opens a full-screen 5-second countdown, with a clear button to cancel an accidental tap.
The family receives the map and hears the surroundings
The alert arrives right away in the chat and, with permission, shows the activation location on a map. Ambient audio arrives in 15-second segments.
On Essential, the family can reply by voice
Any family member can record a voice message, which plays automatically on the device of the person being cared for. On every plan, the family decides when to end the session.
Works without internet
Without a connection, Ampare records everything and sends it as soon as the internet is back. Meanwhile, a button allows calling the on-duty caregiver directly.
What Ampare Emergency does not do
It does not replace emergency medical services or public emergency lines.
It does not promise continuous 24-hour monitoring.
It does not decide what to do during the emergency. People are the ones who decide and act.
On the Free plan, it does not include the voice reply, the recording to replay later or the live map for everyone alerted. Those are part of Essential.
In developmentNot available in this phase yet. Support for wearable devices, fall detection, ECG and alert limits are in development and certification and will be released in a later phase, once the technical and regulatory assessments are complete.
Fall protection and signal alerts are auxiliary safety and wellbeing features, for information only. They are not intended for diagnosis, treatment or clinical monitoring, they can fail, and they do not replace professional care or emergency services.
